MoleTrac enables your skin to be checked for potential melanomas and skin cancer in an accurate, painless and dermatologist approved way. We use world class digital imaging and analysis technology operated by trained health professionals to provide early diagnosis plus customised care.
MoleTrac isn't only about diagnosis, we also work with our clients to educate them about safer practices and provide them with the skills required for self monitoring in between visits.
We take a digital photo of each individual mole, then analyse them using our advanced software developed by the Sydney Melanoma Unit. Studies have shown this system to have accuracy comparable to a dermatologist.
We map your moles, recording the position of all moles on the body. A copy of the images is given to you on CD, to help you and your doctor detect new moles and identify changes to existing ones.
Effective self-examination is the key to early detection of melanomas. Education covers self- monitoring, recognition of the signs of melanoma and steps to reduce risk.
